3 Flats Elizabeth Way Cambridge
These flats were inserted into a tight site in Cambridge and a design was established which was contextual.
They are three storeys and inserted into a gap between Victorian terraced houses.
The left hand terrace had red quoins and window arches, which are reflected in the red trim to our building.
Adjacent terraces have angled bay windows which are reflected in the treatment of the front elevation of our building.
Our building departs from the terrace vernacular and is finished with overhanging roofs to the bays and the front gable.
At the rear the top two flats have balconies set under an overhanging main roof.
